  8. Us students need some help for our works. I need people in USA and people in EU need us to share articles we don't have access to otherwise, which lead me to asking people on SG a couple of times to access some articles for me and send them to me. There are illegal workarounds but not too many students wanna download shit illegally to get their work done. So an app or a site that would give students access to other students that can get those papers for them. Also an app/site that would connect different fields with one another for purposes of translation/analysis or whatever. You'd pay for the app/site access on monthly basis if you need continous help or once (lower price) if you need a single service. People offering translations/analysis/spelling check could also get paid through it with site/app taking a small percentage.
  9. No, it really isn't. The goal of the game, as in any other team sport, is simple, win by points. When you boil it down to that then it's simple and seems dumb, but doing that would disregard a large majority of sports with exclusion of maybe chess or GO which have really rigid rules and has internal logic to it that does not depend on anything else but basically math and geometry. Nerd stuff. If you really care about football you'd know that there's about a million ways you can play it and if you follow the history of soccer, you would know that there have been many different ways the game was played. As an example, in the 70's and 80's the biggest change happened with the invention of Total Football. Total Football still dominates the style of the play today and one of the versions of Total Football is Gegenpressing, invented and utilized by Jurgen Klopp (Dortmund, Liverpool, Mainz): There are many more, and there's a reason why it took Manchester United 8 months with the most expensive team ever to start winning and why it came so "naturally" to Barcelona 10 years ago. It's the style of the game they utilize: Now, english style of play is very different than spanish, and the differences between those two are the reason why Liverpool and Barcelona have different types of Total Football. Spaniards play fast, they play short passes and they keep players tight, utilizing the wingers more often than not. English style is slower, more focused on the back ends and more oriented towards counter-attacks and playing down middle. Liverpool thus plays to stress the ball carrier and recover the ball, while Barcelona plays to never lose the ball in the first place. Both are aimed at keeping the possession high and active play. Italians have almost entirely different type of football and their system was adopted by Greece in 2004. and Portugal in 2016. It depends on deep and strong defensive line, never allowing the opponent to get near the 16m line. This type of bunker play is designed to frustrate opponent and create psychological advantage where the players are left clueless as to how to get in to opponents 16m line. Italian/Greek/Portugese goals are scored mostly in the second half of the game and are often criticized for making the game ugly and playing too much on psychology. Chelsea in 2017. is playing a mix of those two where they depend on their defensive midfielder Kante to be the main connection between the back-end and the front and have been very succesful in doing so. All in all the game is simple. How you play it is very complex.
